Cpan problems and mediawiki from perl

I'm trying to install this mediawiki client for perl, so that I can update some pages via a perl script.

I am however having a hard time of installing it, as cpan insists it's not available on the server. Is that possible given that it's listed in the search?

http://search.cpan.org/~markj/WWW-Mediawiki-Client/bin/mvs

I'm not very familiar with CPAN, so if anyone has any tips or manages to install this package themselves, please let me know.

Tivo Planning

I'm going to be breaking out the MFS Tools and the good old Hinsdale TiVo Upgrade Guide to fix a sick dual drive tivo unit I had previously upgraded.

I'm going to be converting it to a plain single drive unit with 320GB. Unfortunately since the new single drive is not bigger than both of the previous drives put together, I cant just do a straight backup/restore. I have to do a TiVo Software only backup, then generate a clean 320GB drive installation.

The IT Crowd

Almost died laughing. Really I could not hold it together. This show is perfect!

Check it out: here on google video

I really must buy the DVD.

tmpwatch

Was hanging out in #gentoo, and marduk posted the name of a program that clears out temporary files based on their atimes, the last time they were accessed.

http://linux.about.com/library/cmd/blcmdl8_tmpwatch.htm has a little synopsis.

Hanging out in Petaluma

Just enjoying myself out here in petaluma. I'm working to set up some servers for my company out here and it is a lot of fun. Right now i'm waiting for the server room floor to be buffed out before I can go back in there to finish my installation.

Getting the internet online was awesome. It was like a warm glow settled over the facility. Next I have to plan for the placement of the wireless access points to make sure the office has enough coverage.

I should e-mail the project managers to see if they have any tips on how those access points should be placed to ensure maximum coverage. One thing that's nice is that I have not detected any other wireless access points in the area, so that should provide us a generally interferance free covereage zone.
