My cat pissed on my shoes
In the ultimate display of frustration, my cat peed on my shoes near the door.
Here I am in the living room, assembling a brand new automatic self cleaning litterbox system for the kitty, and he's pissed that i'm messing with his domain. You see, the kitty claims the living room as his home. It's all his. When we bought new couches, he shat in front of the TV. When we cover the floor with little tiny plastic pieces, shrink wrap, and even worse crinkly packing materials he just had enough.
He walked over to my shoes, waited until I was watching, and pissed in them.

You must be new here. It's not like he wants to perform such crude gestures - you just need to learn your place :-)
When my parents moved from NM to OH, we stopped in hotels on the way. Well the oldest cat had a nervous breakdown the day before we left, so she was spaced out most of the time. In the one hotel room I was getting the cat box out and putting some litter in it for her. The box is one of them two piece jobs with the ring that goes around the top. Well the ring was sitting on the floor next to me while I was putting litter in the box, and she steps in the ring, sniffs, and then pees right there on the floor.
That's pretty intense. Cat's are strange and mysterious creatures
