Forward swept wings

It's amazing, like something out of a science fiction novel. Jets like this require computer control for stability, because they are inherantly unstable. They can however change directions faster than traditional wing designs.

It looks like a weapon should, it might as well be a flying sword.

Is it the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grumman_X-29 ? I did a wikipedia search for XB70 and it came up with a supersonic bomber.

The plane is badass. It has triple redundant digital computers backed up by triple redundant analog computers to provide around 40 corrections per second to control surfaces on the plane.
